Why should I register?

Registering with CreditUnions.com creates a personal account for you to use when you access CreditUnions.com and provides you unlimited access to public articles, blog posts and op-eds, as well as video, press releases, events, and job postings. You also get access to the Buyer’s Guide, and the credit union data search. You'll be able to sign up for e-mail alerts and receive information on promotions and special deals. Registration is free of charge.

Is registration free?

Yes. Registration is free of charge. Registered users who do not subscribe to the Callahan Media Suite will only have access to public articles, blog posts and op-eds, as well as video, press releases, events, and job postings. You also get access to the Buyer’s Guide, and the credit union data search with an array of filters and views.

To get unlimited access to CreditUnions.com, you'll need a Callahan Media Suite subscription. When you subscribe, you'll get unrestricted access to both public and subscriber-only articles, as well as video, press releases, events, and job postings. What is the difference between registering and subscribing?

Registration, which is free of charge, creates a personal account for you to use when you access CreditUnions.com. Users who do not register on CreditUnions.com will only have access to a ten (10) articles, blogs, videos, and op-eds each month. Register here.

How do I register?

To register, please fill out the fields on the registration page, make a note of your password for future reference, and click the button at the bottom of the page.

CreditUnions.com recommends that you specify your company on the registration page. By associating your personal account with your company, you get access to all the resources your company subscribes to. If you register on CreditUnions.com as an “Individual”, you will not have the ability to upload press releases, job postings or events.

When you have successfully completed the form, a page will confirm your registration and you’ll receive a confirmation email. After clicking the link the confirmation email, you will be able to log in to CreditUnions.com.

Why should I link my registration to my company?

By associating your account with your company, you get access to all the resources your company subscribes to. When a company subscribes to the Callahan Media Suite, every site registrant on CreditUnions.com associated with that company gets access to exclusive resources offered by the subscription.   1. Account information (including name, email address, and phone number)
  2. Company Information (including the Company Administrator, mailing address, address and phone number)
  3. Personal Subscriptions information (including email preferences and email newsletter registration)

If you purchased an individual copy of the Credit Union Directory, your credit union will automatically receive free access to the entire Callahan Media Suite until October 31, 2012. Yes! If your credit union or company participates in Callahan & Associates’ Leadership Program, you have access to all content offered in the Callahan Media Suite.

If your company advertised in a single issue of CUSP, your organization does not have access to Callahan Media Suite subscriber-only content. Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007® Users:

    Open your email message.
    Click on 'Actions' from the menu bar.
    Click on 'Junk E-mail' from drop down menu.
    Click on 'Add Sender to Safe Senders List'.
    Our email address will be automatically entered into your Safe senders list.
    Click on 'Junk E-mail' from drop down menu.

Video Technical Support

I am unable to see any of the videos.

There could be three possible reasons why you are having this problem:

  • Your flash player is not updated. Update it by downloading the most updated player here.
  • Check your internet options. If you go into internet options in your browser, click on the “connections tab”, then “LAN settings”, then uncheck all of the boxes.
  • Your firewall or internal blocked sites list may be preventing you from viewing streaming video. In this case, you will have to contact your IT personnel to unblock this function on your network.

I am getting this error message when trying to view video: “The video you are trying to watch is currently unavailable. Please check back soon.”

How do I post a job?

In order to post a job opening to our Career Center, you must be logged into your CreditUnions.com account and a member of a company. You can submit jobs by clicking the submit links at the top of the Career Center page or by visiting your “My Account” profile page.

After submission, your job posting will be reviewed and approved by a CreditUnions.com site administrator. We work as quickly as possible to review job postings, but due to volume it could take up to 6 hours for your posting to be approved. You will be notified via email at the approval of your job posting. If your job posting is rejected, you will be contacted by CreditUnions.com with an explanation for the rejection and suggested edits for approval.

CreditUnions.com is designed to be a resource for credit union professionals and the industry as a whole and we do not encourage credit unions to post jobs intended for a large public audience. How can I hide my company information in my job posting?

If you do not want your company information to appear in your job posting, select “Keep Company Confidential” in the Company Information section of your job posting. Also, review your job summary and details to be sure it does not include unwanted company information.

Should I include an email address with my job posting?

To control responses and for added security, we recommend that you do not include an email address within your posting. When you post your job, you will choose a contact method that’s right for you. Your choices are described below.

Candidates apply online — Only Platinum Suppliers have the option of collecting resumes on CreditUnions.com. CreditUnions.com will forward all responses to you using the email address you have provided. Your email address will not be included on your posting. Choosing this method allows you to screen incoming resumes and manage candidates online. For more information about Platinum Suppliers, please visit What is a Platinum Supplier?

Candidates contact me directly — Candidates can contact you either at the provided phone number, fax number, mailing address, or email address. The email address provided in the Email Address field will not be displayed to the candidate. In order to apply to your job directly through email, candidates click an “apply by email” button.

Will I be able to see all candidates that apply to my job posting?

Credit unions and Platinum Suppliers have the ability to accept applications through the CreditUnions.com career center. If you selected the option to “Accept Applications,” you will be able to use your CreditUnions.com account to manage all of the candidates that apply to your job using the CreditUnions.com application.

To view a job's applicants, log in to CreditUnions.com and visit your member profile. In the area "My Job Postings," click the "View Applicants" link under the job you would like to review.

In addition, you will also receive an email notification for every candidate that has applied to your job.

A colleague posted a job in the Career Center. Can I review the applicants’ resumes?

In order to protect Applicants’ privacy, only the site registrant who posted the job can view and manage applicant information for that job.

What is the Buyer’s Guide? What does it cost?

The CreditUnions.com Buyer’s Guide is a single online directory of credit union vendors and suppliers who provide key services to credit unions. The guide provides a single place that credit unions can search for a full breadth of third-party services and consulting, from auditors and loan servicers to data processors and mobile banking service providers.

There are two types of company displays in the CreditUnions.com Buyer’s Guide, the free listing and the Platinum Supplier listing.

Free Buyer’s Guide Listing

  • Company name
  • Contact contact information (including a mailing address, contact name and title, phone number, and fax number, and web address)
  • Unlimited selection of Service areas/Area of Expertise (these categories are selected from the Buyer’s Guide provided categories)
  • Inclusion on any Service Area page designated as an area of expertise. (for example, 4 service areas, 4 places your company information is listed)

Platinum Supplier Buyer’s Guide Listing

  • Display at the top of a Service Area Category listing
  • Company name
  • Company contact information (including a mailing address, contact name and title, phone number, and fax number, and web address)
  • A detailed company description
  • Unlimited selection of Service areas/Area of Expertise (these categories are selected from the Buyer’s Guide provided categories)
  • Link to the latest Partner Perspective Article
  • Link to the latest company press release
  • Link to the latest upcoming company event
  • Company logo in the Buyer’s Guide Ticker on every page of CreditUnions.com
