  • I wish Casey had included information on consumner preferances - rates are usually 3rd, aren't they, after good service & respecting depositors as individuals or something along those lines. I feel Cus need to GIVE UP the notion that their rates are the best thay can do for their memebers. Service Hours, access channels, well trained staff, service culture ALL MATTER at least as much, and survey's say more so than rates. I fear credit union's will continue to win the Rate Battle right up until the moment the last one goes out of business! Carolyn Warden, CCUE

  • As long as CU's are tax exempt, the should be able to compete successfully based primarily on rates.
