The state ranks 34th in number of credit unions and 26th in total assets.

Credit unions in the centrally located state performed well in significant categories in 2010. The state's credit unions posted 11.84% asset growth (which ranked second nationally) and 12.82% share growth (fourth). They also kept the delinquency ratio to an impressive 0.95% (second).
