How has the average member relationship changed over time?

 
 

Average member relationship takes into account each financial relationship a member has with their credit union. This is a good metric to track wallet share, as the ratio measures loans (excluding business loans) and shares deposits per member. For 2012, the average member relationship was $15,336 for credit unions nationwide. Compared to just five years ago, this is a growth of 16.7% when average member relationship was $13,140 in 2007. Since last year, average member relationship has increased 3.14%.
