Which credit unions have the most members per branch?

Pentagon ($15.5B, Alexandria, VA) had the most members per branch for all credit unions with more than one branch in the fourth quarter. Pentagon reported 1,174,359 members spread out over their 27 branches, for an average of 43,495. School Employees Credit Union of Washington ($924.8M, Seattle, WA) was not far behind with an average of 40,990 members per branch.  The average for the industry was 4,529 members per branch as of December 31. This is up from 4,342 in 2011, as membership has increased 2.2% while the number of branches has fallen 2.0% over the same time period.
