Before rolling out interactive teller machines (ITMs) in 2018, Tucson Federal Credit Union ($459.2M, Tucson, AZ) spent two years visiting credit unions that had already deployed the technology and carefully evaluating the ins and outs of ITM strategy. The credit union introduced ITMs in its drive-thru locations last year. It was the first to offer the technology in its southern Arizona market, which meant the cooperative had to get it right.
