Ingenuity can take you places with members, especially members who need a car to get to where they need to go. At Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union ($689M, Broomall, PA), the staff uses all of its creativity and attention to detail to help members get into an automobile.

Allan Stevens, chief credit officer, and Drew Stanley, VP of market development and strategic planning, use a partnership with CUDL as one way to engage members. CUDL’s AutoSMART resource (with its JD Power ratings and credit union–selected list of preferred dealers) as a way to engage members interested in one-stop information. To support the resources and expertise of the staff, FMFCU uses creative action-based marketing campaigns. The credit union used newspaper ads to promote low rates and debt consolidation opportunities that got members talking.
